Round table in Moscow: The influence of the American sector

In the House of Social Organizations in Moscow, on June 15, a round table was held under the title: The influence of the American sector, analysis and counter-strategy in the international context. The round table was organized by the Center for Geostrategic Studies from Serbia with the support of the Coordination Council of Non-Commercial Organizations of Russia. This event was chaired by Dragana Trifković, General Director of the Center for Geostrategic Studies and Patrick Poppel, associate and researcher of the Center for Geostrategic Studies from Austria. Poppel is also the creator of the project: Leave the American Sector.

The goal of this event was to bring together experts from Europe and Russia in one place, in order to jointly analyze the American influence in the world, primarily in Europe, and to reach common conclusions about what measures must be taken in order to suppress the malignant American influence.

The entire event was designed to remind the world public of the fact that the occupying US military is still in Europe, more than seven decades after the end of World War II.

The event was visited by numerous experts, journalists and diplomats from Russia, and experts from Serbia, Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Ukraine participated in the work of the round table.

After the welcoming words, Dragana Trifković gave a speech on the topic of „Malignant American influence in Serbia“. She spoke about the events after the Second World War, when Anglo-American influence penetrated the Balkans through „Titoism“. She specifically referred to the breakup of Yugoslavia and the bombing of Serbia by NATO in 1999: „The American strategy was to create small states in the Balkans, and six new states were created on the territory of Yugoslavia, which can easily be controlled from the outside. But it did not end there because the Americans are persistently trying to create the so-called independent Kosovo from the southern Serbian province, as another quasi-state. By completely ignoring international law“.

Dragana Trifković reminded that the Americans camouflaged the aggression as a humanitarian intervention: „After the end of the bombing, the American and NATO army occupied the southern Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija. The Americans built the largest American military base in Europe called Camp Bondsteel on this occupied territory.“

The director of the Center for Geostrategic Studies believes that: „Serbia does not have the internal capacity to implement changes, but the international changes that are taking place can be a support for Serbia and the whole of Europe, to leave the American sector. The collective West increasingly remains self-isolated in the processes of multipolarization. So what we can do is to gain the attention of the public in European countries with our activities with a clear message that Europe, for its survival, must leave the American sector. And the second thing is that through public diplomacy we can build new connections within the multipolar world and that way we gain international support,“ concluded Trifković.

Patrick Poppel from Austria spoke about the intensive influence of America on all European countries.

„This influence at all levels is very damaging to Europe. Furthermore, we must analyze the situation precisely and develop a counter-strategy to counter this influence. It is necessary to design different campaigns in order to reduce the influence of the American sector in Europe“, emphasized Poppel.

Arnaud Devaley, an international law expert from France, spoke about the American influence in this country. He believes that: „Western Europe, and especially France, could never leave the American sector since 1944. It turned out that the American „liberation“ was a conquest, and today that process is completely finished. What remains of Charles de Gaulle’s legacy on matters of national sovereignty and political independence is but a fleeting memory, made possible by the treachery of the French elite who in many cases adopted the occupier’s disdain for adherence to their own culture and rejected respect for the sacrifices of those who built the state.“

Nikita Shtykov, president of the International Institute for Law, Ecology and Education, emphasized that the meaning of Russia’s existence is the preservation of the moral law: „It is necessary to have a national system of ideological diversity in Russia without constitutional restrictions, where family values are the basis. The opposite is the liberal gender ideology, for which there is a proposal to be recognized by the Russian Ministry of Justice as a destructive ideology.“

Shtykov also referred to the conflict in Ukraine, saying that it is: „An internal civil conflict within „great“ Russia, controlled and initiated from outside, with the aim of the Western coalition – grinding the people of „great“ Russia.“ Russia’s task (remembering Lenin about the transition from a world, imperialist war to a civil war) is the need to realize the transition from a civil war to a world, imperialist, nuclear war.

Sonja van den Ende, an independent journalist from the Netherlands and an expert in geopolitics, spoke about the American influence in the Netherlands. She believes that the American sector is connected to the idea of a „great reset“ and that the Netherlands is one of the most globalized countries in Europe. „In the Netherlands are all the main international institutions of globalism, such as the International Criminal Court, where the Serbs were tried. It is known that fair trials were never conducted. If we need to leave the American sector, I think we should start with the Netherlands first,“ Van den Ende pointed out.

In her speech, she also referred to the war in Ukraine, saying that it is „a hybrid war in which the West uses neo-Nazi battalions and wages war against Russia. I had the opportunity to see for myself the neo-Nazi ideology of the Azov Battalion when I was in Mariupol.“

„I think the influence of the American sector is coming to an end. We can make sure that Europe suffers enormous economic consequences due to the conflict with Russia. The Middle East and Africa have already left the American sector and are integrating into the multipolar world. Europe should follow that example,“ concluded Sonja van den Ende.

Pavel Zarifulin, writer, philosopher and director of the Lev Gumilyov Eurasian Center, spoke about his visit to enclaves in Kosovo and Metohija, where he delivered humanitarian aid: „In Kosovo and Metohija, the influence of the American sector is more than obvious, where people live surrounded by barbed wire like in the camp. It was a valuable experience for me to see with my own eyes what is happening in this territory after the American occupation“. Zarifulin pointed out that the same scenario was devised by the West for Ukraine, but that the Russian reaction spoiled all American plans. He believes that Russia, apart from political and military cooperation with other countries, can provide a lot in the field of science and technology.

In the final part of the round table, a discussion was held, after which joint conclusions were drawn on the necessity of Europe’s exit from the zone of the American sector. Roundtable organizers from the Center for Geostrategic Studies invited participants to join an event on July 4, which they called „International Day of Independence from the US“, which will be organized in over fifteen countries. The idea is to organize various activities on that day, such as round tables, thematic publications, announcements on the Internet and social networks, flash mob actions, etc. with the message „Leave the American Sector“.
