The Migrant Crisis And Its Impact On Europe

By Dragana Trifkovic

The beginning of the migrant crisis

The previous year was marked in particular by the migrant crisis, i.e., the migrations of peoples on a scale unprecedented in recent history, or more precisely since the end of the Second World War. In considering the causes and consequences of this crisis, it is necessary to recall that the waves of refugees from the Middle East were preceded by the migration of Albanians from the territory of Serbia, Kosovo and Metohija to the EU and Germany in particular at the end of December 2014 and the beginning of 2015. In that case, however, there were not enough emergency bus lines to take all interested Albanians from Pristina to Subotica, i.e., the Hungarian border. According to some data, within three months 30,000 Albanians migrated from the southern province of Serbia to the countries of the EU.

What Serbian and foreign media interested in finding out what prompted Albanians to move en mass to the EU is of interest at this point. According to migrants who answered questions posed by journalists while waiting for buses at Pristina station, poverty and the uncertain future of Kosovo and Metohija were the main causes for migration. These Albanians told journalists that they had heard that good conditions were being offered for asylum seekers in Germany, France, and Switzerland.

The Vucic Government’s Secret Pact With NATO

By Dragana Trifkovic

Although NATO officially stands for the preservation of peace and security, its actions result in the exact opposite effects manifested in partitioned states and the spread of terrorism. The citizens of Serbia have an extremely negative attitude towards NATO in regards to its aggressive activities and, above all, our experiences in 1995 and 1999 when this organization bombarded us and thereby violated international law. According to public opinion polls in Serbia, 80% of Serbs oppose any cooperation with NATO. The Serbian government, however, does not adhere to the will of the overwhelming majority of the people, but instead acts as if it is responsible to NATO and not the Serbian state whose interests it is supposed to protect.

Significant advances in Serbia’s cooperation with NATO were realized in 2015. This information can be found on NATO’s official website [1] in which it is clear that Serbia officially chose the rather strict path of cooperation through the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP). Serbia’s actions in regards to NATO have drawn attention in Russia. This subject was discussed during the closing session of the board meeting of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, at which the Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu presented an analysis of the military-security situation in the world in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin [2].

US Gov’t Redrawing European Borders According to Its Needs – Serbian Expert

By Ekaterina Blinova

In an exclusive interview with Sputnik, Serbian politician and expert in geopolitics Dragana Trifkovic shared her impressions of her recent visit to Crimea as a member of the Serbian Patriotic Block delegation and explained why Kosovo cannot become a member of the UN cultural agency (UNESCO).

Commenting on the current political situation over Russia’s Crimea, Serbian expert in geopolitics and the Director General of the Center for Geostrategic Studies in Belgrade Dragana Trifkovic drew geopolitical parallels between Crimea and Kosovo, stressing that since the collapse of the USSR, Washington and its NATO allies have been busy redrawing the borders of Europe at their own discretion.

„Since the breakup of the Soviet Union, the United States has been redrawing the borders in Europe according to their needs, starting from the Balkans. Serbia was bombed just because it did not voluntarily consented to the American occupation,“ Trifkovic told Sputnik.

Serbians, do not join the EU!

Kris Roman is the president of „Euro-Rus“ organization, which is politically and socially active in Belgium. The organization opposes the single-mindedness and presents to Belgian public a different view on many political issues. It stands for strong cooperation between Europe and Russia. „Euro-Rus“ organized a number of protests in Brussels on the occasion of aggression against Donbass.

Europe’s Blind Support for US’ Foreign Policy Pushing EU Into Abyss

By  Ekaterina Blinova

While bureaucrats in Brussels try to shift the burden of responsibility for Syrian refugees to Serbia, the Eurocrats have apparently forgotten that the Balkan country has had to deal with its own Serbian refugee problem caused by the bloody dissolution of Yugoslavia instigated by the West, Dragana Trifkovic told Sputnik.

The current migration of people from the Middle East to Europe is an event of historic proportions, which could result in the long-term destabilization of European countries and drastically change the established status quo on the European continent, according to Dragana Trifkovic, an author, expert in geopolitics and the Director General of the Center for Geostrategic Studies, in Belgrade, Serbia.

„The huge wave of migrants from the Middle East is a big problem for Europe because it substantially changes its structure. We are now practically at the beginning of a crisis that will probably escalate in the future. Concerning Serbia, we are a transiting country for the migrants, not their final goal, and we don’t have a strategy for their permanent stay.  That would be unacceptable for Serbia because the country cannot even provide a normal life for its own citizens, which is why young people leave Serbia looking for better conditions abroad,“ Trifkovic told Sputnik.

Eurocrats Shifting Burden of Responsibility to Others

Donbass Through Serbian Eyes

By Marina Kharkova

“The fate of Serbia and the fate of Donbass”

That fate led me to meet with Dragana Trifkovic is not an accident. Dragana, who is a bright and bold Serbian politician, political scientist, and leader of public opinion, repeatedly came to Donbass, despite ongoing hostilities, in order to assist by word and deed. The foundation of her clear political position is the unity and solidarity of the Slavic world and a fierce rejection of Western intervention in others’ affairs. She is especially hostile towards NATO interventions, one of which, with the support of European structures, destroyed Yugoslavia and brought war and woe to her land. The most ruthless strike was inflicted on Serbia. Now, Europe has come to reap the benefits of being shackled in the wake of the American course. Dragana Trifkovic’s point of view is extremely interesting in light of events happening in Donbass and the world.

The Yugoslav Wars: Story of Serbian Genocide Still Remains Untold

By Ekaterina Blinova

The Russo-Western conflict over Ukraine is a continuation of the geopolitical war against Russia unleashed by the US in Yugoslavia in the 1990s, Dragana Trifkovic told Sputnik, nailing the West for the deliberate demonization of the two nations.

The British-drafted anti-Serbian resolution over the so-called „Srebrenica massacre“ discussed in the UN Security Council earlier this month is part of a Western geopolitical game aimed against Serbia and Russia which started with the Yugoslav War of 1991-2001, according to Dragana Trifkovic, an author, expert in geopolitics and the Director General of the Center for Geostrategic Studies, in Belgrade, Serbia.

„This war represented the first phase of surrounding Russia, and the elimination of its allies, as well as the testing ground for trying out new methods for special war, which are afterwards used in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and now in Ukraine,“ Dragana Trifkovic told Sputnik.

Вучићева „платформа за Косово и Метохију“

Escrito Por: Dragana Trifkovic
