BRICS, the intergovernmental organization comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, started meetings this morning in Russia. After agreeing to expand its membership in August, the group added Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the UAE on January 1. During the opening meeting, Iran highlighted the importance of the agenda regarding banking and payments, including digital currency.

Los organizadores dicen que los constantes ataques a la iglesia tradicional y comunidades religiosas, así como las violaciones de las personas religiosas de los derechos, se han convertido en un ardiente problema para la comunidad internacional, pero que en este tema no se da la suficiente importancia y es completamente ignorado por muchas instituciones.

Esta noche en el Norte de Mitrovica, en respuesta a la invitación de Momcilo Trajkovic, presidente de el Nacional serbio Foro, una reunión de trabajo de los representantes políticos de serbia partidos políticos y las asociaciones se reunieron para analizar la situación actual en Kosovo y Metohija y la posición de Kosovo-Metohija Serbios. Se señaló que la situación es alarmante y que requiere de una urgente reunión de todos los factores políticos en contra de la de Kosovo-Metohija Serbios con el fin de asumir la responsabilidad para otros procesos.
30 января Центр геостратегических исследований организовал конференцию на тему: «Выявление факторов, разрушающих церковь: кого волнует религия и как мы можем бороться за ее сохранение?» в белградском пресс-центре Ассоциации журналистов Сербия. Организаторы заявляют, что продолжающиеся нападки на традиционной церкви и религиозные общины, а также нарушение религиозных прав людей стали острой проблемой международного сообщества, но этой теме не придается должного значения, а многие институты полностью игнорируют это.
On January 30, the Center for Geostrategic Studies organized a conference on the topic: „Identifying the Factors Destroying the Church: Who threatens the faith and how can we fight for its preservation?“ at the Belgrade Press Center of the Association of Journalists of Serbia. The organizers note that the continuous attacks on the traditional Church and religious communities, as well as the violation of people’s religious rights, have become a burning problem of the international community, but that this issue is not given enough importance and is completely ignored by many institutions.

What is Arab?
Understanding Arab culture and the values based on it are the crucial points for the proper understanding of the modern region of MENA (composed of the Middle East and North Africa) and its fundamental features. Nevertheless, it must be noticed that all people in the region of MENA are not Arabs like Turks, Jews, some North African tribes, or Iranians. The Arab League (or the League of Arab States) is composed of 22 Arab countries. Even though Arab states are, in fact, from a very cultural viewpoint considered to be Middle Eastern (in a broader sense), not all of them belong to the Middle East (in a narrow sense), and not all Middle Eastern or MENA countries are Arab.
