Lately, I’ve been researching „Project 2025“ and „Agenda 47“ during the past 18 months. The Trump assassination attempt was not just a psychopathic lone-wolf operation. It’s just a small part of a much grand puzzle.
I think we’re in the midst of a two-edged sword coup-d’etat with global amplifications and dimensions: A combination of the upheavals in the 1920s and 30s Germany, plus what General Smedley Butler warned the US intelligence (in the 1930s) about the plot to topple FDR by right-wing military fascists within the US Army which was foiled & failed, but ultimately culminated in 1963 with Kennedy’s assassination and the double-down in ’68 with what the ring-wing military industrial complex did to his brother.
I was never an alarmist in my work. But I think civil war is coming and I’m extremely concerned.
In nutshell, the consensus rationality in America, which was widespread in political institutions, has reached its structural collapse and what we’re seeing are obvious signs of its decline!
Overview:
The 2025 Presidential Transition Project, aka „Project 2025“, is an initiative organized by the Heritage Foundation with the aim of promoting a collection of conservative and radical right-wing policy proposals to reshape the US federal government and consolidate executive power should Fmr. Pres. Trump wins in November. Only 3 1/2 months away!
The Project asserts that the entire executive branch is under the direct control of the president under Article II of the U.S. Constitution and unitary executive theory. It proposes reclassifying tens of thousands of federal civil service workers as political appointees in order to replace them with loyalists more willing to enable the next Republican president’s policies, i.e. Trump’s.
In doing so, proponents argue that the change would dismantle what they view as a vast, unaccountable, and mostly liberal government bureaucracy.
The Project seeks to infuse the government and society with „Christian values“. Critics have characterized Project 2025 as an authoritarian, Christian Evangelical nationalist plan to steer the U.S. toward autocracy.
Many legal experts have said it would undermine the rule of law, the separation of powers, the separation of church and state, and civil liberties.
What For the Rest of the World?
From a global perspective and the academic macro level, we are placed in the periphery of witnessing an unfolding historical situation that requires a different point of view than what the mainatream media is painting with its focus on details of this Trump assassination attempt. It may still be early, but historical facts are quickly being revealed and they all point to the end of an era in which the two poles of communism and capitalism, led by the Soviet Union and the United States, rested on the ruins of World War II.
The collapse of the Soviet Union was hastily framed by Western political philosophers as „the end of history“ and „the beginning of the expansion of liberal democracies.“
However, the events that are happening before our eyes are serious signs and symptoms of the collapse of the „Pax Americana“ in the world. This statement does not mean the end of America itself as a country. But it means that our American world order, i.e. the controversial post-WWII new world order, is rapidly declining. But just as the collapse of the Soviet world order did not mean the end of Russia as a country, even though USSR ‘s fall in 1991, it did mean that Russia was no longer the other architect of the old bipolar world order of East verses West, vis-a-vis capitalism verses communism.
Remember Dostoevsky and his mission for Russia before the rise of the USSR.
The question now is that after the collapse of the American world order, what are the opportunities and threats facing other turbulent regions of the world such as West Asia, Latin America, and Africa?
The current rules of the political game in many of the aforementioned regions are more like running a village than countries that could survive and thrive and think and plan at the global leadership level.
