Even after a hundred years, the Monroe Doctrine is not dead. Its axis was, and still is, the American weapon with the help of which the North penetrated into South America and took from it everything it wanted. Now China and Russia are penetrating there, but on a completely different basis, for mutual benefit.
Almost all of 2024. for a year, the attention of a large part of the world was occupied by the tent under which the preparations took place, and eventually the elections for the president of the United States. Some were eagerly waiting for the face of the man they portrayed as president to be removed from the screens and covers of the largest, once the most influential, media houses.the most powerful man on the planet, hastily replaced by the character of a dark-skinned, and in the political sphere by a pale, eternally smiling woman who entered the ring with an important businessman whose party comrades in the past decade have tripped her legs wherever and whenever they could. In the end, a blond-haired arrogant man emerged victorious from that tent and ring, whom many considered a peacemaker because "for God's sake, he did not wage a single war" forgetting that in this century wars are not only fought with tanks, guns and missiles. This "pigeon of peace" carried under one wing sanctions and customs levies that sprinkled all those who did not like it for various reasons, and under the other 8OO military bases, planes and drones, one of which killed one of Iran's most influential leader Qassem Soleimani, whose death almost turned into a spark that would ignite the fire of the Great War on the Middle East.
Under These Wings,bombs were dropped in Syria, and sanctions were dropped in Russia. His victory was received peacefully. Some say oddly, not taking into account that it is just another person of the same currency. Biden's" victory " was received in a different way four years ago, but it was also a show that sought to cover up the many internal problems that the state community still has. Thanks to the propaganda,to which the Americans and the English are proven champions, there is a natural expectation that Trump will do miracles, turn everything around and make this a better world that most of humanity persistently desires. As in many cases, Americans prone to megalomania in their arrogance impose a pink visor on the world, starting with the newly elected president who claims that the war in Ukraine will stop within two days. But just as the aircraft carrier, that huge floating steel island of death, cannot turn and move in a different direction, so the American system and policy in comparison to the rest of the world cannot change course abruptly, which even before entering the White House you can see what the delivery of the wings of the "peacemaker pigeon", which are conquest statements, i.e. it intends to capture the Panama Canal, buy or conquer Greenland, and annex Canada as the Fifty-first state, even with weapons if necessary in order to "strengthen national security".
Some consider these statements to be" firecrackers " to boost popularity, while others do not rule out serious intentions. In his first term, Trump tried to buy Greenland. Now he sent his older son Donald Jr. there. Probably not Tourism. The Danish authorities rejected the offer, and the Danish king ordered that the coat of arms be changed, so that crowned Lions were removed from the old one, and a Silver Bear and a goat were highlighted as the symbol of the Feroe island belonging to Greenland. Greenland has an area of about two million square kilometers and only 56.ooo residents. The area is rich in various raw materials, including rare metals much needed in the production of state-of-the-art machines, appliances and military assets, which is the main reason why the US wants Greenland, and the second is the advantage it would gain in the fight for the Arctic over Russia and China, which has recently appeared as an increasingly important figure on the "ice chessboard". A shadow of the Monroe Doctrine ,which he created in 1823. John Q. Adams, ascribed to President James Monroe, summed up in the phrase "America to Americans," was initially conceived as a resistance to European colonialism, and eventually turned into the basis for us colonialism in relation to South America, still hovering over that much-suffering continent.
It is therefore no surprise that Trump again announces his country's claims to the Panama Canal. One of the reasons cited is excessive service prices and China's increased involvement in the operation of this important sea route. The U.S. still considers South America its backyard from which they can draw everything there, and they need it, so explaining why the U.S. cannot give up that area, general(a) Laura Richardson, commander of the U.S. Southern Command, said that "we have valuable raw materials there". Such statements were strongly opposed by Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino. The problem is that there are a lot of Panamanians who think positively about a possible U.S. intervention, so it would not be surprising if the small country found itself in a whirlwind of unrest.
The U.S. has already moved firmly to South America, Argentina, which President Javier Miley has torn from the BRICS. the U.S. is threatening Mexico with a 25% tariff and even military intervention,allegedly to crack down on mafia cartels of drug traffickers who export the devastating drug fentanyl to the U.S. without mentioning that from the U.S. illegally imports large amounts of weapons. And here, again, China appears as the accused party, as the producer and main supplier of this dangerous drug to the cartel. What is China doing on this continent? China enters this continent with its own or mixed capital, builds industrial plants, to make products as close as possible to the end customer and thus more affordable and cheaper, renovates and builds new infrastructure. The largest projects were carried out in Mexico. Recently, the construction of Megaluka Chancay was completed in Peru at about 7o km north of the capital Lima, in which долара 3.4 billion has been invested so far, and it is estimated that it will bring 4.5 billion in salaries and 7.5 jobs to the Peruvian economy. The significance of this port is that it has a deep draught and can accommodate even the largest container ships, so large that they cannot pass through the Panama Canal, and the travel between Asia and South America is shortened by 28 to 4º days.
Previously, raw materials such as copper, soybeans and other products were transported to Mexico and further to Asia. As usual,the US did not like it, so they hypocritically warn that Peru will be dependent on China. Negotiations for the construction of the Nicaragua canal were also restarted. The list of done and what is planned to be done on this continent within the project "Belt and Road" is too long to list all the thanks here. However, it is important to point out that none of them are predatory and that the implementation will benefit both China as an investor and the countries in which the projects are being implemented. In a similar way there is Russia, which maintains traditionally good relations with most countries by supporting their independence and full sovereignty. Of particular importance to these countries is Russian support in the military sphere. The largest buyers of Russian weapons are Venezuela and Cuba, and the militaries of Brazil, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Colombia and Argentina have it. The countries of South America like that neither China nor Russia interfere in their internal affairs, so it is not surprising that the influence of both China and Russia is increasing, and recently the popularity of the BRICS of which they are members. Recently, Cuba and Bolivia were admitted to the organization, and the desire to join was announced by other South American States.
Thus, a different view of the world and the desire to create a multipolar one is stronger from day to day, while the hegemony of the "world gendarme" is weakening, and therefore resorting to the tried recipe of conquering foreign territories and resources. That is why it is unlikely that there will be a drastic change in US foreign policy, which the residents of Serbia and Republika Srpska hoped for. It is possible that some small changes will occur, and the final outcome of all the changes in the world will depend largely on the outcome of the NATO-Russia war in the territory of Ukraine.
