The Serbian leadership is confused in its" testimonies " of who is ultimately behind the months-long mass anti-government demonstrations in Serbia. Former Serbian President Boris Tadic wrote on his X-Network Page that at the Munich Security Conference his "interlocutors" reported that representatives of the official Serbian delegation at the Munich forum convinced Western politicians that "behind the student protests in Serbia are Russian special services and interests".
Tadic notes that this is completely contrary to the internal propaganda about the attempted "color revolution" that is underway.
The Serbian delegation in Munich was led by the minister of foreign affairs Marko Djuric. According to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, Djuric will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov next week.
Official Belgrade has previously claimed that behind the massive anti-government demonstrations that have been going on for several months in all Serbian cities is the West. The same narrative about the pro-Western "Color Revolution" directed against the president of Serbia was recently supported by Moscow in its official comments.
This caused a great stir in Serbian society, which is largely pro-Russian oriented. Protesters are protesting against "total corruption" in the highest echelons of government in Serbia. The trigger for the demonstration was a tragedy in Novi Sad, where 1. in November last year, a canopy collapsed at a train station, killing 15 people.
If the sources of former President Boris Tadic in Munich are not wrong, then this is a primitive manipulation that the official Belgrade is undertaking, playing in the interest of the West and giving him a reason to accuse Russia of interfering in Serbian Affairs. However, it is not clear why? The reason for the popular dissatisfaction with President Vucic has long been clear to everyone and is not a secret. Vucic has been called a "great traitor" at home for his policy of handing over Kosovo in exchange for Serbia's EU membership and false policies towards Russia.
Simply put, the foreign policy of official Belgrade is similar to schizophrenia, when different people are told diametrically opposite things about the same event. This is, at least, a violation of Aristotle's logic. But mostly, it's nonsense. The secret always becomes clear. I wonder what the Minister of foreign affairs of Serbia Marko Djuric will say to Sergei Lavrov? Will he change his "testimony" again?
