In the modern world, culture is not only associated with diplomacy, as it has been in the last hundred years, but it has also become independent in the field of international relations. Using its laws and instruments, it expands sociocultural cooperation, realizing national interests, guided by the definition "diplomacy serves culture, not culture diplomacy". It is clear that the term culture is increasingly used in the context of cultural policy, international relations and cultural diplomacy in international relations. Despite the differences in these terms, in addition to "cultural diplomacy" terms such as "international cultural cooperation" and "international cultural exchange"are still used.
The Center for geostrategic studies organized 30. January in the Belgrade press center of the Association of journalists of Serbia conference on the topic:"Identifying the factors that destroy the church: who cares about faith and how to fight for its preservation?“. The organizers say that continued attacks on the traditional church and religious communities, as well as violations of people's religious rights, have become a burning problem for the international community, but that this topic is not given sufficient importance and is completely ignored by many institutions.

Zionism
The term Zionism is derived from the word Zion that in the Hebrew language and cultural-historical tradition of the Jews refers to the citadel (acropolis) of the city of Jerusalem as well as to the Kingdom of Heaven. From the matter of politics, Zionism refers to the political-national movement of the European Jews in the very late 19th century for the very purpose to re-create a Jewish homeland in the form of a nation-state in the Middle East – Israel.[i]

Preface
It is important to have a short look at the history of this battle for more women’s rights. That is why I will shortly explain the ideology and social movement of Feminism, the factor which has driven women in their battle for equal chances and respect. Finally, I will come to my main topic which is the specific problems with which women have to deal concerning politics in Western democracies of (post)industrialized societies.[i] For instance, the question is: What is the representation of women in Western politics today? It would be taken a look at their representation in the Parliaments, and in which number they are able to occupy some key political positions. It will be discussed some evolutions and also the difficulties they still have to deal with because of their gender belonging. The crucial examples are coming from the European Union (the EU) and its Member States. Consequently, it is also important to try to propose some solutions to the issue of female representation in the Parliaments, for instance. Here, I will present the EU’s policy towards this issue as an example to try to answer two questions: Is a policy of active interference positive or not? What is about quota policy?

Ukraine is an East European territory which was originally forming a western part of the Russian Empire in the mid-17th century. That is a present-day independent state and separate ethnolinguistic nation as a typical example of Benedict Anderson’s theory-model of the “imagined community” – a self-constructed idea of the artificial ethnic and linguistic-cultural identity. Before 2014 Ukraine was a home of some 46 million inhabitants of whom, according to the official data, there were around 77 percent of those who declared themselves as the Ukrainians. Nevertheless, many Russians do not consider the Ukrainians or Belarus as “foreign” but rather as the regional branches of the Russian nationality. It is a matter of fact that, differently to the Russian case, the national identity of Belarus or the Ukrainians was never firmly fixed as it was always in the constant process of changing and evolving [on the Ukrainian self-identity construction, see: Karina V. Korostelina, Constructing the Narratives of Identity and Power: Self-Imagination in a Young Ukrainian Nation, Lanham, Maryland: Lexington Books, 2014].

This is a first-hand account.
It is that of Marie, a young and talented journalist who, at the age of twenty-eight, voluntarily scuttled her career as a French journalist.
This profession, which had been her dream since childhood, is a disaster in today’s France, ravaged by conformism and corruption.
