Every day, the public in Serbia receives a lot of information from the political and social establishment, which in most cases is not very important. The current ruling group, led by Aleksandar Vucic, is particularly passionate about annoying the public with daily and several hours of speeches from political officials, from which practically nothing significant or new can be learned. Marathon performances serve for personal marketing and convincing the public of great successes, economic development, road construction, new investments, job creation, good intentions and so on. On the other hand, the public remains deprived of answers to questions that are of crucial importance and higher interest.
THE SERBIAN NATIONAL FORUM
Tonight in North Mitrovica, at the invitation of Momcilo Trajkovic, president of the Serbian National Forum, a working meeting of political representatives of Serbian political parties and associations was held to discuss the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija and the position of Kosovo-Metohija Serbs. It was noted that the situation is alarming and that it requires an urgent gathering of all political factors against the Kosovo-Metohija Serbs in order to take responsibility for further processes.
The problem with Kosovo and Metohija is an issue of the greatest state and national interest for Serbia. He is directly linked to the violation of international law and the actions of the NATO coalition of states, at a time when they were at the height of their power. Since then, international circumstances have changed drastically. Under today's conditions, the American project for Kosovo's independence is unsustainable. It is for this reason that the US is making extreme efforts to put an end to this issue and force the Serbian leadership through the "Brussels platform" to give up its territory.

In the occupied territory of Kosovo and Metohija, there was again an escalation of the conflict, when Serbs from the north of Kosovo and Metohija came out to prevent the takeover of four Serb-majority municipalities. Extraordinary local elections in four municipalities in northern Kosovo - North Mitrovica, Zvecan, Leposavic and Zubin Potok, were held on the 23rd. April. These elections were organized by the illegal separatist structures of the so-called independent Kosovo. Over 90% of Serbs living in these municipalities boycotted the elections, and the branch of the Serbian Progressive Party in Kosovo-Srpska lista, did not participate in the elections even though it had previously exercised power in these municipalities, according to the laws of independent Kosovo.
