Yugoslavia and Ukraine: war for resources, war against Russia

The Russian news agency RIA Novosti in Moscow held a conference called The 2014 war in Ukraine. and in Yugoslavia 1999: similarities and differences in tactics and strategy.

The war in Ukraine is a continuation of the destabilization and encirclement of Russia. After the collapse of the USSR and the abolition of the Warsaw Pact, space was opened for NATO expansion and full US dominance. Although the Russian authorities at the time had verbal assurances from Western officials that NATO would not expand to Russia's borders, the West did not stick to the agreement. Countries that once belonged to the Eastern bloc have become members of the EU and NATO. The conflicts in the former Yugoslavia were a prelude to Ukraine.

Speakers at the conference were Ljubinko Djurkovic, Retired Colonel of the Serbian Army and president of the Executive Board of the movement for Serbia, Sergey Grigayev, Director General of the Center for Strategic Studies and forecasts, Dragana Trifkovic, director of the Belgrade Center for geostrategic studies and Oleg Valecki, military expert, member of the Union of writers of Russia

Fifteen years ago, NATO countries carried out an aggression against the sovereign state of Yugoslavia. NATO aggression was the culmination of the conflicts that were taking place in the Balkans and no one was responsible for it. In the wars in the former Yugoslavia, which preceded NATO aggression, the West played a major role. The Hague tribunal was established by those who participated in the NATO aggression against Serbia with the political goal of legalizing the guilt imposed on Serbs.

A MOMENT FOR NATO TO BREAK

Ljubinko Djurkovic stated that Albanian terrorism in Kosovo and Metohija was encouraged by the support of the West and that it caused even more severe conflicts of Albanian terrorists with Serbian security forces as well as an attack on the Serbian population. According to him, they prepared the ground for the NATO attack on Serbia and were tasked with provoking conflicts. "Serbia was not able to defend itself against the aggression of the NATO organization, which then consisted of 19 Western countries, especially since it did not have the support of Russia. The attack on Serbia was the beginning of the attack on Russia. If we draw a parallel with Ukraine, it is now in the phase that Yugoslavia was in before the 1999 bombing. and the Russian people in Ukraine are fighting for survival in the areas where they have lived for centuries, just as the Serbian people were fighting for survival in Croatia and Bosnia. In the same scenario, along with Croats in Croatia and Muslims in Bosnia, American officers who trained and armed them, as well as soldiers of various nationalities employed in American private military companies, fought against the Serbs. Today, with the Kiev junta stands the vast majority of the Western world, as well as NATO. NATO's goal is to be the only world power in Serbia in 1999. the year she applied great force over a far weaker victim. NATO will try to control all areas in Ukraine and thus get closer to the borders of Russia. This is the moment when NATO can break down, Serbia failed to do so for only one reason – because it did not have modern anti-aircraft weapons, i.e. S-300 missile systems. Russia now has a geopolitical advantage, and it must consolidate its forces to prevent the West from further aggressions and looting of the rest of the world, because Ukraine is not only the last line of Defense of Russia but of all humanity.“

TRIFKOVIC: THE DECLINE OF SERBIA

In her speech, Dragana Trifkovic noted that the war in Yugoslavia did not start by accident, but was carried out according to the West's strategy for breaking that country, just as is the case in Ukraine. "The goal was to put the territory of the former Yugoslavia, i.e. the newly created state, under the control of the United States. This is the main reason why the West initiated wars in these areas with the task of transferring all responsibility for the wars to the Serbs, as well as blaming the Serbs for all the accidents in the wars they started. Part of this plan is the formation of The Hague tribunal, which served to legitimize crimes against Serbs. Various Special Operations (Markale, Racak, etc.) Western services staged alleged arguments for attacking Serbs, which led to the bombing of Serb positions in Bosnia and the bombing of Serbia, i.e. the former Yugoslavia.

The US conducted these operations through private military companies, terrorist organizations and peacekeeping missions, in cooperation with terrorists and extremists. In addition to political and military actions, an important tool in American strategies is represented by Western media and non-governmental organizations, which are an instrument for the internal occupation of the country. The real revolution of Serbia begins with alleged democratic changes, and all these alleged democratic processes, as well as European integration, have brought enormous economic damage to Serbia. Now Ukraine is on a similar path, and it is very important that Western services do not take control of Ukraine as is the case in Serbia. The West is trying to shift responsibility for the conflict in Ukraine to Russia. The greatest danger lies in the fact that no agreement is possible with the West because they do not respect either agreements or laws. Bombing Of Serbia In 1999. in the year (without a UN resolution), international law ceased to apply and the law of force was introduced. Making concessions to the West causes them to seek even greater concessions."

VALECKI: PRO-WESTERN YUGOSLAVIA

Military expert Oleg Valetsky pointed out that the similarity in the wars in Yugoslavia and Ukraine is reflected in the main forces that were against Yugoslavia and now Ukraine. "The United States and the United Kingdom have completely controlled the internal and foreign policy of Yugoslavia since 1948. years. After Tito's death, there was an oligarchy in the former Yugoslavia that was under the complete control of the United States. The West began to blame Russia for the alleged claims to warm seas, however, it was just a cover-up for their plans. Yugoslavia was an exclusively pro-Western country, which sought to join the EU. Yugoslavia was a developed country with a strong police force, we can remember Stalin's words in 1948. years that the special services dominated the party organs. The special services had complete control, and the wars between the republics were not wars between peoples, but between individual clans that governed Yugoslavia. If we analyze the Ukrainian case now, we can also draw a parallel with Yugoslavia. For twenty years Ukraine was an independent state, but in fact its policy is controlled and defined by the US and the UK. The ultimate goal, as in the case of Yugoslavia, is not Ukraine in the EU, but a Ukraine that is split into several warring parts and controlled by the West with the help of several companies. The main goal is to make Ukraine a colony controlled by London and Washington.“

GRIGAYEV: THE TRAGEDY OF EUROPE

Sergei Grynayev stressed that the Balkans are the key to the Eurasian space, and this is the basis of modern geopolitics. "Britain as an empire, as the ruler of the world, as it positions itself and wants to see it, planned to invade the Eurasian space across the Balkans. So just saw the activation of a series of conflicts at the end of the 20th. century in the Balkans, while the strategic goal of the war in Yugoslavia was to attack Russia. As for the current goals regarding Ukraine, the situation is close to Yugoslav, but still the dominant issue is related to useful ores, coal primarily, as well as the transit status of Ukraine, through whose territory Russian gas reaches Europe. Here, the United States and Britain are working against Europe itself, and the whole tragedy for Europe is that many European politicians understand that they are being dragged into a spiral from which they will find it difficult to get out. Europe is trying to counter the policy of sanctions imposed on it against Russia and is trying not to be drawn into the active phase of the conflict in Ukraine. Since the EU is a product of the US and a buffer zone between the countries of the former Warsaw Pact and the US itself, the EU's political and economic decision-making mechanisms do not allow this centre of power to make decisions on its own. Certain decisions should be made in the interests of the United States to help save the country from its own national debt. As is well known, all wars and conflicts allow the transfer of problems to others, which among other things accumulate in the American economy. The situation in the world is extremely complex. The military-political situation in many regions of the world remains tense.“

DISCUSSION: CONFLICT NEEDS THE WEST

When asked by journalists about the causes of the aspirations of Eastern European countries to join NATO, Colonel Djurkovic explained that NATO is investing a lot in propaganda and that their plans to mobilize about 250,000 soldiers for the fight against Russia from the territory of the Balkans, primarily from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija (from the forces of the Kosovo army, which is now under formation) of Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Therefore, he believes that the expansion of NATO should be prevented, and this will open the question of the survival of the pact on its current scale, i.e. its final end.

Dragana Trifkovic stated that NATO, i.e. the West, invests a lot of money in marketing and promotion of its organization in Serbia through NGOs and organization of seminars, conferences, thus trying to present themselves in the most beautiful light. Unfortunately, there are no Russian media in Serbia and it is impossible to see a different picture of this criminal organization.

When asked by journalists about human organ trafficking and the international legal order, Dragana Trifkovic said: "the international community is faced with major problems, primarily due to the lack of a legal system, which the West abolished and introduced force law. There are no mechanisms to prevent the overthrow of regimes that are "unfit" by Western criteria for spreading false information, nor for condemning the most serious crimes. The investigation into human organ trafficking in Kosovo and Metohija has been halted, and western structures are trying to cover up evidence of them and thus protect their associates who are direct participants in these crimes. Now we are talking about human organ trafficking in Ukraine and there is a possibility of repeating the crime that was carried out against Serbs. Such monstrous crimes in today's world system remain unpunished. There are examples of participants and collaborators in these crimes being rewarded, as in the case of Bernard Kushner.“

As a conclusion of the Conference, Sergey Grigayev noted that there is a struggle over economic interests and that no solution has been found to the economic crisis that has been shaking the world in recent years. "The fight is over the interests of certain financial groups. That is why the West needs to provoke conflict in order to compensate for the economic losses. The way out of the world crisis can be to revise international norms, trade, economic relations and the like. The global world was built by the United States according to its own interests. Key financial structures are either created or controlled by the US, which helps them use the mechanisms of economic pressure. It is necessary to change the structure of the UN, since it has been shown in practice that the current structure cannot function. The example of Ukraine is clear that the system is not good, before that we had the example of Syria, Iraq, Yugoslavia. The UN did not prevent the conflict and fulfill its moralistic role, but hardened it. The modern world can no longer exist in the framework in which it existed before, that is clear.“
