Press release of the Information Service of the People's movement of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija "Fatherland"
It is little to say that the attitude of the separatist authorities in Pristina towards the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija is hostile. Everywhere, at every step, the regime of Albin Kurti tries to make life worse for Serbs with the intention that they leave the southern Serbian province. In just over a year, the regime in Pristina eliminated more than 700 jobs in which Serbs worked.
Taking the so-called Paradise baths in Banjska, which was occupied by ROSU police more than fifty Serbs were left without their jobs. With the closure of the Postal Savings Bank and the abolition of the dinar as well as the Treasury of the National Bank of Serbia, more than two hundred Serbs lost their jobs. In a similar or similar way, more than sixty employees of Commercial Bank lose their jobs and move to the rest of Serbia.
Shops, pharmacies, catering facilities are being massively closed by the separatist authorities, causing Serbs to lose their jobs. Through the privatization agency, which is taking place as a rule that no Serbs can buy any facility because it is governed by the principle of absolute discrimination, which can be confirmed by the statistics themselves that through privatization, not a single Serb has become the owner of any real estate to this day in these 25 years.
For example, a catering facility known as Dolce Vita to the very Bridge on the Ibar known from the time when Serbs defended the northern part of the city of Kosovska Mitrovica was bought by an Albanian. The same happened with the office and the house where the late Oliver Ivanovic worked, where the privatization agency in Pristina again awarded the facility to an Albanian through fabricated tender documentation.
Being left without work and also without the support of their state, Serbs are slowly but surely leaving Kosovo and Metohija. The carelessness shown by Belgrade is particularly reflected in the issue of the dinar. Belgrade accepted this lightly even though in 2000 the then UNMIK administration made a decision that the dinar was a valid means of payment.
Much of the trouble that Serbs are experiencing in Belgrade can be prevented. But he does not do so for two reasons, because of the Brussels Agreement and the Franco-German proposal in which Aleksandar Vucic pledged not to interfere in the internal affairs in the southern Serbian province. In this way, Belgrade, i.e. its president, becomes an accomplice to the regime of Albin Kurti in the exodus and persecution of Serbs.

In an inexplicable way, the president of Serbia forces 580 Serbs members of the Kosovo police to leave their jobs, return long and short pipes, allegedly because the community of Serb Municipalities has not been formed. In this way, the president of Serbia opened the door to the ROSU police to threaten and harass Serbs in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, where today there is not a single Serbian policeman in this area. It cannot be that he did not agree with Albin Kurti as he had previously agreed to give him the buses for the so-called. countermeasures in Belgrade.
Especially interesting is the Silence Of The Office for Kosovo and Metohija and Serbian newspapers over the seizure of five gas stations where Serbs worked in the north of Kosovo and Metohija in the municipalities of Leposavic, Zvecan, Kosovska Mitrovica and Zubin Potok, which left almost fifty Serbs without jobs. The reason for the Silence lies in the fact that when the privatization of Beopetrol bought by Lukoil and Jugopetrol bought by Gazprom, they also bought the facilities that these companies owned in the southern Serbian province. All the assets of these companies south of the Ibar river had been previously occupied by Albanians. In the north of Kosovo and Metohija, these Russian companies left the Serbs in that area to deal with the sale of fuel. In order not to be accused by Pristina of Aleksandar Vucic protecting Russian property, Belgrade remained silent, forgetting that it was 2016. the famous Marko Djuric triumphantly and exaltiously opened the NIS pump in Kosovska Mitrovica.
Unfortunately, the troubles of the Serbs have no end, especially while the treacherous regime of Aleksandar Vucic is in power in Belgrade. Cynical, mocking, tragicomic is the song about the "Aca commander" fighting the battle for Kosovo and Metohija, which is heard on Pink TV, bearing in mind that the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija were left to their tragic fate by the president of Serbia due to their bare survival in power. The whole situation can be characterized by that of Njegoš - Janko defends Vladislav dead, which defends him when he does not defend him.
How we worked so God helped us.
