This confirmed that the US intelligence agency has chosen the ancient Ecumenical Patriarchate and its head, in order to facilitate the implementation of the plans of the world's globalist powers. In other words, the US administration has used the Patriarchate of Constantinople and its influence in the Orthodox world to achieve its geopolitical and geostrategic goals.
We must admit that they have judged correctly, because only the Orthodox Church remains the last defense of traditional values (faith, family, fatherland and tradition), as well as the Christian dogmas of the Holy Apostles, the Holy Fathers and the Ecumenical Councils.
When it comes to the CIA, wiretapping, bribery, blackmail, but other forms of covert struggle – especially during the Cold War period-also took place on the church plane, because the superpowers fought for the faithful. Many years ago, documents from the CIA archives show that the US was embroiled in the election of the Patriarchs of Constantinople, which led to schisms in the Orthodox world and religious-political affairs.
Patriarch Athenagoras of Constantinople has been the Supreme Head of the Church of Constantinople since 1948. until 1972. years. He played this role well. The 1949 enthronement ceremony. he called on Christians and Muslims to "unite in the fight against the red threat" of communism.
During the first sermon, next to Patriarch Athenagoras stood the governor of Constantinople. According to reports from British diplomats, he was an important figure in the Church of Constantinople. Let us recall how Patriarch Athenagoras came to the throne of the Church of Constantinople.

There are still piquant details that speak to the direct involvement of the US administration and the CIA in the selection of the first among the equals of Honor in the Orthodox world.

The main candidate was Yakov (Kukuzis), Archbishop of the Church of Constantinople in the USA, who was a "true star", a strong preacher and a frequent guest at the White House. In all this, his Greek connections played a decisive role. At the same time, he was a good friend. Washington had an interest in the" right person " running the Church of Constantinople. The West saw this patriarch as the leader of the Orthodox world.
The British intelligence report stated:"The Greek community in Constantinople is very small, about 30,000 people and can be used as a pawn to trade guarantees for Turks living on the island." The Cyprus problem was increasingly alienating Ankara from its Western allies. Archbishop Jacob openly supported the inhabitants of Cyprus and collected funds for their assistance. In this way, he seriously jeopardized his election as patriarch of Constantinople, especially since the issue of his position was resolved at the very top. The Turkish side was unwavering. "They do not want Yakov to be the next patriarch," the State Department said in a secret telegram sent to the US ambassador in Ankara.
The future Patriarch Yakov invited George Bush, then the representative of the United States to the UN and asked for a Security Council resolution "on the violation of religious freedom in Turkey"to be voted on. The future US president realized that Jacob was a "fallen bird". A few months later, on suspicion of corruption, Spiro Elinja resigned. So plan B failed. Metropolitan Meliton (Hajis), who was loyal to the Americans and who had a Turkish passport, was removed from the list of candidates at the last minute. Ankara sent Constantinople three names that were not known to the public.
The Synod of the Church of Constantinople elected a new Patriarch Dimitrios (Papadopoulos) - a" quiet monk " who did not make strong statements. He had a good relationship with the Russian Orthodox Church in 1987. he was in Moscow for years. Dimitri died in 1991. years. His place was taken by Metropolitan Bartholomew (Argondonis), a retired officer of the Turkish army. He was reportedly a suitable figure for Ankara as well.

First in Estonia, which he said was his territory, and then in 2018. years in Ukraine, where he legalized local schismatics regardless of the canons. In any case, it was the person who answered to the CIA and the State Department.
Thus, Patriarch Bartholomew I came to the throne of the Church of Constantinople, who would later prove to be a devoted servant to those who brought him to this place. Subsequent events will show that this will contribute to the greatest fragmentation of the Orthodox Church in its history.

July 2016 the year brought an article titled "Here'S how the CIA tries to destroy orthodoxy", in which he transmitted excerpts from "The doctrine of fighting the East", created by the director of the CIA, Allen Dulles (Allen Welsh Dulles, the first civilian director of the CIA), which set out guidelines on how to destroy the traditional values present in Orthodox countries, i.e. to extinguish the national consciousness of their citizens and break the military power of the Slavic states. The Dulles Doctrine of the American struggle against the East states that the United States should take over the world, and must first break the spirit of the Slavic countries.
"We will give everything we have, all the gold, all the material power to fool and fool people. The human brain and consciousness are prone to change. If we sow chaos there, we will imperceptibly plant false values on them and force them to accept those values. How? We will find like-minded people, allies and helpers in their homeland. Little by little, we will play a grand tragedy, in its scale, of the deaths of all Orthodox Slavs, and finally in this way we will irrevocably extinguish their national consciousness.“
The U.S. Secret Service is charged with imperceptibly, covertly, actively, and persistently, aiding the despotism of officials, corruption, and unprinciples.
"Honesty and fairness will be ridiculed, will not be needed by anyone and will be considered a remnant of the past. Rudeness and impetuousness, lies and deceit, drunkenness, drug addiction, treachery, chauvinism and hostility to nations – all of these will be cultivated in the consciousness of the people.“ He warned that a small number of people would still understand what was going on.

However, CIA Director Allen Dulles felt that the US intelligence services should pay the most attention to the destruction of Russia, as the largest Orthodox country in the world and one of the world's most important factors in creating a geopolitical and geostrategic map of the world.
"We must have automatic guarantees that even the non-communist and nominally friendly regime of Russia will not have any military power in the future. In economic relations, it depends heavily on the outside world, has no serious authority over the main national minorities, and never again establishes anything resembling an " Iron Curtain." In the event that such a regime establishes hostility towards the communists and friendship towards us, we must make sure that these conditions are still imposed on them. We must, if not by Grace, then by force, win them over for the protection of our interests,“ the CIA doctrine states.
The above documents show more than clearly the ways and reasons for the arrival of Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople to the place of the first among equals in honor in the Orthodox Church – (Primus inter pares). After all, it is crystal clear who helped him and on whose orders he came to this place, i.e. under whose influence he makes decisions and performs such a high and responsible function.
Despite the aspirations of Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople and to impose himself as an Orthodox Pope, an example that tells us that such a thing is not possible, is the icy silence accompanied by the barbaric seizure of the Orthodox shrine, the Church of St. Sophia in Constantinople by official Ankara, which completely discredits the attempt of such an intention. In other words, The Silence of the patriarch of Constantinople fully illuminates the unfounded aspiration to rule the Orthodox world. In a concrete example, he showed that he was incapable of defending the Church of St. Sophia, which is only a few hundred meters from his chambers, and how could it represent the whole orthodoxy?
In his capacity as president of the "Center for the protection of Christian identity" from Belgrade, the writer of these lines sent an open letter to the president of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan 13. July 2020. in 2008, the pope asked for a review of the decision that converted the Orthodox Church of St. Sophia into an Islamic place of worship, which was built by Emperor Justinian from 532-537. years. The letter was delivered at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Belgrade.
Also, in a separate letter, Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople was asked to invest his authority and do everything to return to us the Church of St. Sophia, in which generations of our ancestors prayed with the peace of God to the only Lord.

To remain in the mission of preserving the Orthodox faith, we are convinced that in this day and age, The Russian Orthodox Church the only one who can protect and preserve the Orthodox Church from the demonic forces and temptations to which it is exposed.
