As the U.S. presidential election nears, this "trampling" on the domestic public scene is gaining momentum again. Trump's demands for Serbia to recognize the fake State of Kosovo, the signing of the damaging Washington Agreement, the humiliation of Aleksandar Vucic at the White House, and even the new regime deals with Trump's son-in-law Kushner, have not convinced a certain circle of speakers that Trump is not our long-awaited savior. We can hear again: "Serbs will breathe easier if Trump comes." To at least expect the Americans to solve the problems they created in the Balkans is more than naive. However, those who claim it are not at all naive, but in all likelihood have an interest in claiming it.
US policy in the Balkans has had its continuity since the 1990s, where the two most important US projects are "independent" Kosovo and unitary BiH. In this regard, their attitude towards the Serbian issue has not changed all these years, regardless of whether the president of the Democrats or the Republicans sat in the White House. It would be expected that the Serbs would support the American Vanguard, which quite rightly claims that the entire political establishment of the United States is rotten. Instead, many continue to fuel false hopes.
Many of them have been very perfidiously critical of Putin's policies in recent years, arguing that they are fundamentally weak and have no chance of influencing world events. Even claiming that Russia (the largest country in the world with 11 time zones) is not even a regional power. They are now" slightly " silent on the subject, but still lay all "hope" on the overseas saviour.
What can really ease our position is the weakening of the power of the collective West and the United States internationally, as well as the internal problems of the Western bloc that are increasingly piling up. This conditions the U.S. to deal more and more with problems at home, so the rest of the world will be able to take a break. But that doesn't mean that Americans will change their strategic plans overnight. Especially Trump who points out the slogan: Make America Great Again“. It was these American megalomaniacal ideas of greatness and exceptionalism that gave them the "right" to dictate rules to everyone that brought the whole world to the brink of the abyss. If only for nuance they had been less arrogant and arrogant, they would not have turned the rest of the world against themselves. But that time when they could change something was " gone with the wind." The West has moved into a phase of self-destruction. The rest of the world (outside the collective West) should remain calm on the sidelines.

The internal struggle waged in the Western bloc has sharply divided the transnational elites of globalism we call both the "Deep State" and the traditionalists or conservatives. The first are guided by the ideology of protectionism, racial, sexual, gender and other groups, total dehumanization and destruction of all historical, cultural, religious, traditional and moral values. Others fight this and try to protect the attacked values and their basic human rights. In this sense, the latter can theoretically be closer to us, but provided that they accept that we too have our own history, culture, tradition, faith, morality, values and interests that differ in many ways from their own. And here we come to the key fact. Conservatives in the West have no interest in protecting non-Western values, at least they are not interested in them at all, nor understand them.
On the other hand, the internal struggle between different ideologies in the West does not have the same context on external issues. When it comes to expansionist foreign policy, this is not the topic on which these two currents clash. Under Donald Trump, the United States imposed numerous sanctions on Russia, began the deployment of weapons to Kiev, exited the strategic agreement on medium-and low-range missiles with Russia, sought greater allocations for NATO from European states, etc. All this suggests that Trump should not be trusted when he promises that if he wins the elections he will stop the war in Ukraine even before the inauguration. Just as Trump did not return Kosovo to Serbia, as certain analysts assured us, he served Vucic on the exact Washington agreement.
The only ones who can have a sense of the Serbian question are those states that have a sense of justice and are aware of how much injustice has been done to Serbia. In the first place is Russia, with which we are connected by historical friendly relations and which internationally protects the interests of Serbia more than the Serbian regime does. But there are other BRICS countries or those close to the bloc, which advocate respect for international law and respect for the interests and sovereignty of other countries (China, India, Brazil, Iran, Indonesia, Syria, DR Congo, Belarus, South Africa, etc.). However, Serbia is harming itself, increasing distance from states with which it has common interests and putting itself at the disposal of NATO aggressors. This is evidenced by the fact that Serbia, at the request of the West, imposed sanctions on many friendly states (Syria, DR Congo, Belarus, Lebanon, Cuba, etc.).
It is possible to expect that the Serbian regime will eventually impose sanctions on Russia, under the pretext that it is under pressure (actually personal blackmail) and that this will ensure Serbia's European future. In any case, Vucic's confirmation that Serbia is arming the Kiev regime is a much worse thing than imposing sanctions on Russia, especially considering the fact that sanctions by the entire West have failed to economically harm Russia. This way, instead of finding its interest in cooperation with the countries leading the multipolarization of the world, Serbia will find itself in a society of losers, which will be a historical precedent. For this reason, those who convince the public that Trump's slogan is actually "Make Serbia great Again" are only going to the hands of the Serbian losing position.
