Complex martial arts originated as a domestic sport for uniformed persons who do not have the opportunity to train constantly, and are based on the most acceptable and proven methods from elite sports. It is a double discipline consisting of two rounds, where the athlete in the first round demonstrates striking techniques of boxing and kick-boxing, and in the second round performs classical and free wrestling techniques with ground holding techniques from sambo wrestling. The division of combat into striking and wrestling techniques made it possible to TRAIN law enforcement officers or military personnel in a short time to be equally skilled in striking and wrestling techniques.

Valery Semerikov, deputy secretary general of the CSTO, told reporters that taking into account the current world military-security and political situation, the CSTO is developing a new strategy of collective security and that the proposals of CSTO member states are welcome. He also stated that the CSTO plans to continue cooperation, including at the level of international conferences, positively assessing the results of CSTO conferences in Serbia. Dragana Trifkovic asked the CSTO leadership about the plans for cooperation with Serbia, considering that after the Pandemic there were no joint activities of the Serbian and Russian armies in the format of bilateral military cooperation or CSTO. Deputy secretary general of the CSTO responded that "the pandemic has affected a temporary pause in close cooperation, because the measures taken have limited the possibilities of participation in various CSTO events, as well as the organization of joint exercises in which Serbia has previously participated. Then the situation began to develop in the direction when priority tasks appeared that we had to solve in the CSTO format. So we can see the immediate pause as the need for the organization to solve certain priority tasks.“

Trifkovic also questioned how the CSTO leadership views the growing military-political confrontation at the international level and the possibility of a nuclear war. Valery Semerikov replied that the situation in the CSTO's area of responsibility is good. Nikolai Bordyuzha, long-time Secretary of the CSTO (2003-2016), who is a frequent guest of the Russian media on military and political topics, said that there is a danger of direct conflict with NATO, which automatically means the use of nuclear weapons. "There is a fairly large group of political scientists in Russia who believe that it is necessary to apply nuclear weapons in limited form to some countries. You also know that the concept of the use of nuclear weapons has changed and if the existing threat to Russia's national security is serious and the survival of Russia is questioned, I think our president will make the most difficult decisions without hesitation. Some people play with fire without realizing that they are bringing the whole world to the brink of survival. There are tendencies and all the political scientists I talk to and who are active in the Association of Russian analysts, say that the tendencies are going in that direction. It is not clear what the Western politicians who make such decisions are thinking, because they may be the first to be hit. Because centers that bring political solutions and military facilities will be under attack,“ Bordyuzha said.
