Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic signed, as the Serbs themselves say, a" shameful declaration "against Russia according to the results of a" summit "called" Ukraine – Southeast Europe", which was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The document specifically expresses "support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine" and calls Russia an "aggressor".

It is absolutely clear that this gathering of heads of state and government of Southeast Europe was organized by Washington and Brussels with the aim of creating a "united anti-Russian front", which is envisaged exclusively for information and propaganda purposes. It is difficult to imagine, for example, Albania, unrecognized Kosovo or Croatia as locomotives of those World processes that are linked to the conflict in Ukraine. So the whole task of the organizer of the "summit" was loud PR and nothing more.
Moreover, the main target of the "summit" was not even Russia, but Serbia, whose leadership was to once again publicly renounce Russia and be placed in the ranks of the Balkan puppets of the United States.

It is important to note that Croatia invited Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric to this "summit". But President Vucic decided not to miss this "important event" and personally went to Dubrovnik to sign a declaration against Russia.
It is important to note that the two countries refused to participate in this anti-Russian Shabbat. Hungarian President Viktor Orban and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico ignored the meeting in Dubrovnik. They were not ashamed to go where they would slap Russia. This whole show was made up at the US embassy in Belgrade: Vucic was supposed to speak in Dubrovnik as a "supporter of Russia", allegedly dropping anti-Russian sanctions from the final document of the meeting.

That is, Vucic, along with the entire company gathered in Dubrovnik, does not admit that it was Ukraine's involvement in NATO that was one of the main reasons for Russia to launch its military operation against the regime in Kiev. In addition, it is a clear indication that Vucic has taken another step towards Serbia's accession to NATO, although this is completely unthinkable for all Serbs.

Foreign Minister Marko Djuric, who signed the agreement on behalf of Serbia, said that "American partners are interested in Serbia diversifying its gas supply lines as much as possible".
He said that "the energy agreement with the United States will reduce Serbia's dependence on fossil fuels", that is, on Russian gas. This partnership, he said, "is not just about energy, but about strengthening our relationship with the United States, our unwavering ally.
Serbian analysts called this agreement with the Americans "the suicide of Serbia".
On the hook of incriminating evidence
I wonder what kind of gills Washington and Brussels hold to Aleksandar Vucic if it fundamentally breaks the centuries-old traditions of the Russian-Serbian Brotherhood? The Serbian opposition is convinced that Washington and Brussels have a goddamn dirt on Vucic. This allows the West to "spin" the president of Serbia as it wishes.
It turns out that in order to save himself from exposure, Vucic sacrifices relations with Russia, risks the survival of his people and his country? I wish this wasn't true. But the facts and the actual politics of Vučić speak for themselves.
