The idol of the old right probably reached a deal with the"Deep State"
I will not hide that, with all my understanding of the dangers of "Christian Zionism," whose banner is Donald Trump today, I was still happy for the Americans.
To distance myself immediately: unlike many of my friends, I am convinced that the coming great liar will not at all be a monster with horns on his head, who will publicly demonstrate his demonic essence. In" the short story of the Antichrist", written 125 years ago, Vladimir Solovyov, in my opinion, depicted the coming of the Antichrist more faithfully than is common among devout zealots.
"The Great Deceiver will speak with anger of sin."
This is the danger of wrong conservatism. Deserve authority by exterminating the bearers of sodomy, but, at the same time, be a tool of much greater lies and much greater danger.
But now we are not talking about the spiritual background of the processes taking place in the world. And Russia, alas, is not an autarky at all, so the global processes, including those manifested in the election of the president of the United States, worry us very much.
What was most striking about the "US election 2024" political play was that there were no serious demonstrations by sodomites, feminists or other leftists. There were theatrical events, such as performances with hysterical feminists who cursed the Patriarchate, etc. But this is all for tick-tock, it's not serious.
Why is everything so smooth?
And this deceptive refinement has greatly disrupted the American old right.
Where's Antifa? Where'S BLM?
And when appointments to serious offices followed, it became clear: the idol of the old right most likely made a deal with the "Deep State".
What our friends, who had been convenient to label as "conspiracy theorists," had long suspected, became obvious to everyone.
I am not talking about secret negotiations, but about explicit appointments.
The words of the American analyst of Serbian origin Srdje Trifkovic, well known to Russian conservatives:
This is our chance: about Trump's actions in Ukraine.
"None of the Trump supporters who were with him for four years in exile and who I identified as likely senior officials in the second Trump administration were given important offices. Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for strategy Elbridge Colby, who played a key role in drafting the 2018 National Defense Strategy. and one of the few experienced foreign policy strategists I thought should have been on Trump's team, he got nothing, despite my expectations.
The same goes for Fred Fleitz, vice president of the Center for American security at the Trump institute "America first" and Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, Co-Chair of the Center. Last year, they developed a plan to end the war in Ukraine, some key elements of which Trump adopted as his own; but Fleitz and Kellogg remain on the sidelines.
Another persistent Trump supporter, former ambassador to Germany and acting director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell, has reportedly been considered for secretary of state. However, even before writing this article, he did not secure a job in the newly elected administration. Let me add that it is particularly regrettable that Colonel Douglas McGregor, Grenell's successor in Berlin and a prominent military intellectual, was not given any office.
Robert O'brien, Trump's fourth and final national security adviser in his first term, is also not on any list. This is at least good news because, unlike the other four, o'brien is an unwavering neoconservative. The bad news is that within a week of the election, Donald Trump named four hardened neoconservative warmongers to four key foreign policy and national security sites.
Ironically, before appointing these men, he announced that two neocons who held prominent positions in his first term, former CIA Director Mike Pompeo, who was Trump's Secretary of state, and Nikki Haley, Trump's former ambassador to the UN, were not considered for either position. The announcement came as an encouraging signal that Trump is leaning towards an anti – war approach to international affairs-that the era of U.S. global intervention may be coming to an end.
However, a series of cold showers soon began.
Senator Marco Rubio will replace Estonia Blinken as secretary of state.
Trump's national security adviser will be House Speaker Michael Waltz.
Former Fox News anchor Pete Haggett will be secretary of Defense.
Member of the House of Representatives Elisa Stefanik will be ambassador to the UN.
So key positions under Trump will be taken by people who have spent most of their political career promoting neoconservative views and advocating U.S. military intervention abroad. People who continue to express the will of those forces who continue to use the United States as a beating to crush those who disagree with the global agenda.
"These are qualified people.these are people who know who America's enemies are: Russia, China and Iran, and they know who our allies are, and I think that's a good choice."
What does this mean?
Is it really that Trump has managed to convince the neoconservatives?
It seems more likely that the forces behind the neocon were able to make a deal with Trump.
So there are no more snipers or even protesters and hooligans like ridiculous anti-fascists.
Who does the president of the United States remind us of?
Zelensky, who promised peace but brought war?
Or Vucic, who says seemingly the right things, but does everything "as it should"?
The American Left is terrified.
They are also afraid to think that the one they bet on has reached a deal with the "Deep State".
"The notion that this time Donald Trump made a deal with a deep state full of neoconservatives is too terrible to think about.
It's terrible to think of such a thing.
But it will be necessary.
